Walter “Sonny” Clark, 71, of Pendleton, passed away, November 4, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital, Indianapolis, IN. He was born, September 14, 1945 in Anderson, and resided most of his life in Pendleton. Sonny graduated from Pendleton High School in 1963. He was retired from the Anderson Police Department in 1988 after 20 years of service. He previously worked for Ed Martin, Oldsmobile, Cadillac. He served his country in the Vietnam War as a Marine.
He was a member of East Side Church of God, Anderson, the F.O.P., Anderson, and the co-founder of the PAL CLUB in Anderson.
Sonny is survived by his wife, Stephanie Clark, of Pendleton, IN, son, Kevin (Tawnya) Clark of Fishers, daughter, Sophia Clark, Pendleton, a grandchild, Charlie Thomas, of Fishers, cousins, Jim (Linda) Jordan, of Anderson, Betty Lou Andis of Washington, IN, Delores (Carl) Glascock of GA, and Sonny Taylor of IN. He was preceded in death by mother, Helen Bennett.
