Walter was born in Turlock, California on April, 25th,1945 to Walter and Laura Roth. He was the youngest of 11 children. He was raised on a ranch and was taught at an early age about work ethics. Walter loved ranch life and the great outdoors. His father taught him to hunt and fish which he loved. Walter started driving a truck at 18 and drove for 45 years. He was awarded a patch from the National Trucking Association for 20 years of no accidents and 30 years with no accidents, he also had a pin for 45 years of no accidents. He drove over 5 million miles. Walt was a kind and compassionate person and was always willing to help anyone in need. He was so protective over his family and friends. He put up a courageous fight against cancer but cancer won out. He died peacefully in his sleep at home where he wanted to be. Heavenly Father took him home. He will be sorely missed by family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Betty, a daughter, Cristy Bennett and a son, Walter Roth Jr.
