Walter Price VonHoven, Jr., 95 of Indianapolis, passed away March 26, 2012. He is survived by his wife; Margaret VonHoven, daughters; Nora J. (Michael) Lee, Gretchen V. Liechty and Charlotte H. Leis, son; W. Eric VonHoven, grandchildren; Sean Liechty, Kristen (Karl) Bedwell, Heather (Brian) Goers, Kyle Leis, Ryan Lee and Kacie Leis, great-granddaughter; Kay Leis, nephew; John Deris, niece; Kathy Andre. He is preceeded in death by his son-in-law; Kurt Leis.
He served in the U.S. Army as a combat engineer in the South Pacific during W.W. II. He was a graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans and worked for the YMCA for over 25 years.
