Walter O. Stiffey, 80 of Greensburg, passed away Thursday,September 22,2022 in Excela Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born March 15, 1942 in Bolivar, PA. He was the son of Harry C and Sarah Rebecca (Griffin) Stiffey.
Walt was well known in the operation of his company, ServiceMaster by Stiffey where he shared partnership and enjoyed working alongside his wife and two sons. He was a 50 year 32nd degree member of Masonic Lodge #225 and was also a member of the Tall Cedars where he played drums and organized details of several parades for the local community of Greensburg residents to enjoy. Walt was passionate about cars and his Harley Davidson where he enjoyed riding with his family, friends and other members of the Latrobe Harley Davidson Owners Group. Above all else, he was a generous man with a giving heart and always willing to help anyone in need. He never wanted to see people have hard times and was always there to lend a helping hand. He cherished the times spent with family and friends enjoying holiday, picnics, and the simple things in life.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Harry Stiffey, Roy Stiffey, Betty Cummins, Florence Davis, Ralph Stiffey, and Richard Stiffey.
He is survived by, his loving and beautiful wife of 64 years, JoAnn (Wynn) Stiffey, his three children, Susan Stiffey Ray and her husband Don, Randy Stiffey and his wife Debbie, Brian Stiffey and his wife Jen, four grandchildren, Shane Scott, Stephanie Lacinski and her husband Alec, Kaden and Skylar Stiffey, and several nieces and nephews.
