Walter Marchik, 83, of Cromwell, passed away on Wednesday, March 12th at Middlesex Hosptital. Born on April 3rd 1925 in Meriden, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Anna (Balcon) Marchik. Walter lived in Cromwell for the last 50 years and served in the Merchant Marines and the US Army during WW II. He is survived by a brother, George Marchik; a brother-in-law, Edward Dlugolenski and many nieces, nephews and their families.
