Monson- Walter M. Ellsworth, Jr, 73, passed away January 23, 2023 in his home. Walter was born May 15, 1949 to the late Walter M. Ellsworth Sr. and Gloria (Yeoman) Morneau. Walter honorably served in the US Navy from 1968-1972. For many years he was a machine operator at Dan Wesson Arms in Monson. Walter was a member of the NRA and GOAL. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and target shooting. His greatest love was his grandchildren.
Walter leaves his Mother, Gloria Morneau of Holyoke; his son, Walter M. Ellsworth III of Monson; a daughter Kimberly Peet and her husband Charles of Belchertown; a brother, Wesley Ellsworth and his wife Cynthia of Monson; sisters, Lynn Chalue of Monson and Sonya Ellsworth of WI; three grandchildren, Braden Ellsworth, Kevin Peet and Olivia Peet along with many nieces and nephews.
