Walter Leo Wrzesinski Jr.

March 19, 1934 – July 1, 2022

Walter Wrzesinski, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great- grandfather passed away on July 1, 2022.

Walt was born on March 19, 1934, to Walter and Helen Wrzesinski in Rothiemy, Montana. He spent his early years in the Snowy Mountains in Montana before the family moved to the

Rygate area. He graduated from high school and then enlisted in the United States Navy. Walt was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1956. Later that year he married Vivian

Letson. They moved to Billings, Montana where Walt attended and graduated from Rocky Mountain College.  He taught and coached for several years before moving the family to Idaho

in 1965 to become an instructor at the Marsing Job Corps Center.  After he retired from the Job Corps, he worked for several years as a truck driver for Idaho Sand and Gravel.  After he

retired again, he spent his time camping, fishing, attending every concert, soccer game, and many other activities that his grandchildren were involved in. Walt loved riding his ATV with

friends in the Owyhee Mountains, caring for his cows, playing cards, fishing and hunting whistle pigs. He liked to spend his time watching the PBR. Walt knew the statistics of not only

the cowboys but the bulls as well. Every December he watched the National Finals Rodeo. Walt never knew a stranger and had a story for every occasion and an occasion for every story.

Walt is survived by his children Wendell (Jenny), Tammy (Mark), and Marla (Kevin) 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Sadly, his daughter Cheryl passed away on July 2, 2022.
