Walter Lee Brewer (February 6, 1938 to May 29, 2018 ) was always amazed and

humbled that God would call him to preach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

He was born on a Sunday and named after the preacher; God had a plan from the

beginning. That plan was not revealed to Walter until he had graduated from

Northwest High School, served in the United States Marine Corp, married and

becomes the father of three children. He graduated from Atlanta Christian College

and served churches in Georgia, Alabama, West Virginia and North Carolina. He

shared the Gospel by teaching and preaching in many States and Countries around

the world.

He was preceded in death by his parents George Dwight and Bessie Lindon

Brewer, sisters Lillian Shore, Thelma Moyer, Magdalene Snow, Josephine

Clifton, Betty Tuttle and Carroll Lewis. He is survived by his wife of 60 years,

Verna Lee Spainhour Brewer; two sons, Brent Lee (Jondra), Knoxville, TN and

Brian Keith (Edie), West Chester, PA; a daughter, Desiree Gaye (Rick),

Winchester, KY; his grandchildren, Erika (Nick) Lenzi, Kelly (Matt) Dean, Craig
