Walter Kyzima, 94 of Berkley Township passed from this life peacefully December 13, 2019. Walter was born October 23, 1925 in Newark, New Jersey to the late Russell and Anna Kyzima. He was a devoted husband, loving father and trusted friend. He served his country in the United States Army. In addition to serving his country, he also made it a point to give back to the less fortunate, as he never wanted anyone to go without. He later became an independent contractor and was a trusted employee of Dante & Sons. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Throughout his life, Walter enjoyed riding his bike around the neighborhood, making sure to say hello to all he passed. He had a passion for reading about history and the wars. He loved to travel with his wife, Helen, and enjoyed trips to Atlantic City with his daughter and granddaughter. He was often seen with a scratch off lottery ticket in hand.

Walter is predeceased by his parents, his wife, Helen Rode Kyzima; sisters, Mary D’Agostino and Dolores Rochow.

Walter is survived by his daughter, Karen Kyzima of Berkley; brother, William Kyzima of Berkley Heights; sister, Pauline Repke of Arizona; grandchildren, Kelly Norcross, Vincent Kyzima and Steven Kyzima; and many loving nieces and nephews.
