Mr. Walter J. Zalenski, age 84, of Milford, beloved husband of 57 years to Evelyn Wydra Zalenski, passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 1, 2009, at Milford Hospital.
Walter was born in Ansonia, on March 29, 1925, the son of the late Stanley and Antoinette Poremba Zalenski. H e was a self-employed painter for many years before his retirement. Walter served with pride and honor in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
In addition to his beloved wife, survivors include his two brothers Edward and John Zalenski both of Ansonia and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters Stella Zygmunt and Rose Draus, four brothers Anthony, Frank, Joseph, and Chester Zalenski.
