Walter J. Kuna, 87, of 222 Grimesville Road, died Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at the Williamsport Hospital.
Walter and his wife, the former Bernice J. Wiszniewski, celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary January 25th.
Walter was an army veteran of WWII.
Born September 2, 1921 in Williamsport, he was the son of Jacob A. and Bertha A. Rucinski Kuna.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Constance “Connie” L. (Myron) Miller of Duboistown; brothers, Stanley M. and Lewis K. (Sylvia) both of Williamsport, grandchildren, Jennie and Lori Miller of Duboistown and several nieces and nephews.
Walter was predeceased by a brother, Joseph J. and sisters, Pauline S. Kraynak and Helen A. Fink.
The family suggests contributions to the church.
