Son of the late Selma W. and Edna A. Marshall Bell, he was born on April 15, 1927 in Norfolk, VA. Walter was the Director for The Foundation School in Orange.
In addition to his wife, survivors include his three children Alison Bell of Milford, Stephen Bell and Adam Bell and his wife Kathryn Bell all of Orange and two grandchildren.
