Walter Henry Planeta, Jr., age 87, of Fairfield, beloved husband of the late Edith (Nagy) Planeta, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 27, 2022. Born in Bridgeport, the son of the late Walter H. Planeta, Sr. and Mabel (Weir) Planeta, he had been a Fairfield resident for most of his life. A graduate of Roger Ludlowe High School, Walter proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He worked in I.T. for State National Bank until his retirement.
