Mr. Walter Goodwin, 86, of Hazel Green, passed away on Saturday. He had retired from Allied Supply after more than 45 years of service. He was a Christian and a faithful part of Hazel Green’s First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxie Moss Goodwin;
HIs brothers: J.B. Goodwin, Melvin Goodwin, Charles Goodwin, Rob Goodwin, Rube Goodwin, and Parker Goodwin.
His sisters: Hazel Thomas, Ozell Hardiman, and Mildred Moore.
His parents: Johnny & Emma Goodwin
Surviving family members include his sons and daughters-in-law: Mark & Connie Goodwin; Brian Goodwin; Greg & Beth Goodwin; His grandchildren: Parker Goodwin, Emma Goodwin, and Bentley Goodwin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, his brothers-in-law, Doug Moss, Rex Moss, and George Moss, and by his sisters-in-law, Jean Ratley, Evelyn Huggins, Karen Gipson, Donna Hartman. and Katie Mae Goodwin.
