Lambert (nee Kane), whom he married on February 18, 1950 at St. Martin’s Parish where they lived the first five years of marriage; son of the late Mary G. and Walter G. Lambert. Loving father of Walter G. Lambert, Jr. and wife Jill, Mary E. Lambert and husband Raymond Welborn, and the late Judith L. Bartlett; cherished grandfather of Timothy K., Joseph T. and wife Allison and Eric V. Lambert and Caitlin E. Bartlett; father-in-law of Ronald D. Bartlett; brother to the late Charles F. Lambert and brother-in-law of Shirley G. Lambert.
He was a resident of Glen Burnie for 54 years before moving to Ocean Pines, MD in 2006. Walter was an active member and a daily communicant of Holy Trinity Church, a parish corporator for 20 years, a lecture, member of the Holy Name Society, Legion of Mary and president of the Parish Council.
