He was born on October 28, 1941 to Sophia (Harting) and Anthony Drees, both deceased. Walter was a retired Public Accountant with Drees Associates, in DeMotte, IN for many years and member of Association of American Accountants, Public Accountants Association, and the American Legion. He is survived by two sons, Michael Drees, Portage, IN and James Drees, Evansville, IN. 2 grandsons, Cody (Sarah) Drees of US Air Force, Germany and Logan Drees, Portage, IN; 4 sisters, Rose Gruss, Coldwater, OH; Bernie Wendel, New Weston, OH; Dorothy (Robert) Kanney, St. Henry, OH and Regina Wendel, Ft. Rocovery, OH. Many nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Clem & Larry, Sister Mary Mueller and nephew, Lee Drees.
