Walter Keith Fox, 80, of Anderson, passed away August 1, 2020 at St. Vincent’s Anderson Regional Hospital. He was born September 20, 1939 in Anderson, Indiana to the late Henry and Vera Fox. Walter graduated from Anderson High School in 1958, proudly served in the Army Reserves for 6 years, and retired from ALAC after working there over 25 years.
He was a member of Southdale Church of the Nazarene where he served as a Head Usher, Sunday School teacher and a treasured board member. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, building things, craft work, gardening, and most of all, being with his loving family. Walter is survived by his loving wife, Connie Fox, whom he married January 31, 1960; children, Donna Fox, Lisa Fox, and Mark (Heather) Fox; siblings, Ron Fox, Sue Dowden, and Connie (Barry) Schnorr; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Dee (Sam) Johnson, Henry “Hank” Fox, Pam Fox; father-in-law, Marvin Garrett, mother-in-law, Gladys L. Garrett, brother-in-laws, Jerry Garrett, David Horn, and Seth “Tom” Dowden; and his nephew Brian Collis.
