Walter Eugene “Gene” Fletcher, Jr., 75 of Severn passed away on December 11, 2018. Gene was born on April 22, 1943 in Annapolis to the late Walter and Mary Fletcher. He was a dedicated Marine who served in Vietnam and retired as a Master Gunnery Sergeant. Gene was a loving husband and a great father. He is survived by his beloved wife, Joyce Fletcher; his children, Holly Denise Fletcher Charrier and Walter Fletcher, III; his siblings, Marian Kelly, Jimmy Fletcher, Paul Fletcher, John Fletcher, Francis Fletcher, Kathy Antonangeli, Rita Santangelo, Monica Gamby and Susan Cross; his grandchildren, Caleb, Bethany and Morgana and four great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Gene was preceded in death by his daughter, Erin Nicole Charrier
