Walter “Denny” Sutton, 67, of Anderson, passed away January 7, 2014 at his home. He was born July 11, 1946 in Middlesboro, KY to Walter and Rosetta (Dickey) Sutton. Denny was the former owner of the Subway franchise in Fortville and loved playing golf, basketball and fishing.
He is survived by his wife Sharlene (Hall) Sutton whom he married July 2, 1965 in Louisville; children: Walter Jr. (Kathy) Sutton of Frankfort, KY; Angela (Dylan) Armstrong of Ft. Myers, FL; and Andrea (Robert) Skaggs of Fortville; grandchildren: Mitchell, Jessica, Justin, Carly and Patrick; 1 great-grandchild, Carter; his mother; brother David (Linda) Sutton; and sister Dorothy Martin. He was preceded by his father; sister Launa Chester; and brother James Sutton.
