Walter D. Foutch, 91, Anderson, died October 16, 2003 at his home after an extended illness. He was born November 28, 1911 in Kempton, Indiana, and was a resident of Huntsville for over 50 years and had been a resident of Anderson for the last two years. He was a retired chief radio operator for the Indiana State Police Post at Pendleton where he worked for 23 years.He alsoworked for 7 years as a radio repairman for the City of Anderson. He was a graduate of Tipton High School.
He enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, music, working on old radios, was fond of yard sales and helping his family any way he could. He is survived by his sons, Dean Foutch of Pendleton and David ”Tony” & wife Jean Foutch of Anderson; eight grandchildren, Sharon Salinetro of Indianapolis, Cheryl & husband Monty Hopkins of Martinsville, Mary Beth & husband Larry McClellan of Patriot, Cheryl Riddle & fiance Ryan Robertson of Indianapolis, Wally Foutch of Anderson, Sam Foutch of Texas, Brandon Riddle of Muncie and J. D. Foutch & fiancee Lisa Wallace; eleven great grandchildren; special friend, Joe Barkdull.
He was preceded by his wife whom he married in 1932, Mary Coppock Foutch on July 8, 1962; his parents, John William & Hanna Cripe Foutch; a son, Dale Lee Foutch on January 21, 1996; a daughter, Dana Rae Riddle on April 15, 1982, a granddaughter, Tammy Greve in September of 1990 and a brother, Basil Foutch on July 28, 1976.
