Walter C. Lilly, 85, of Bethlehem, passed away on Saturday January 28, 2017, in his home. He was the husband of the late Lois R. (Remaley) Lilly who passed away on April 20, 2015.

Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Wilbur and Reba (Shall) Lilly. He was a graduate of Liberty High School and Moravian College. Walter honorably served his country in the US Army, as a Sergeant during the Korean War. He worked as a General Agent for the PB&E and affiliated railroads many years, until retiring. He was a faithful member of St. Stephen’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bethlehem.

He was also a 32 Degree Mason and member of Bethlehem Lodge #283 F&AM, where he was a past Master. He was a member of the Lehigh Consistory, Rajah Shrine and Forks of the Delaware Tin Lizzies Shrine. Walter was an avid golfer, woodworker, and enjoyed traveling with his wife. son Andrew S. Lilly and his wife Sarah of Pocono Summit; sister Doris Kaleycik; brother Wilbur Lilly, Jr. and his wife Rose all of Bethlehem; grandchildren Aurora, Lyra, and Gabriella.
