Walter Buckley was born June 13, 1945 in Darling, Mississippi to Ira and Birtha Buckley. He graduated from Quitman County High School and attended Coahoma Junior College in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Walter later joined the Army in 1967 and was deployed to the Vietnam War.
Walter married Sharon in Indianapolis, Indiana on May 15, 2009 and gained 3 additional children. Walter and Sharon enjoyed going to the casino together and doing projects around the house. You would see them out to dinner on a Friday night with their matching outfits. They were inseparable.
Walter retired from Union Carbide and later worked as a general contractor on several rental properties. Walter
