Mrs. Davis was born March 6, 1924 in Slzfeld, Germany to Gustav Schwarz and Anna Schwarz (Boehm) of Slzfeld, Germany. She married Claud A. Davis in 1953 and came to the United States in 1954. Although a homemaker most of her life, she also worked at Crestview Manor Nursing Home for 11 years and provided home health care to many families in the area. She was a member of Elm Grove Baptist Church.
Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Wilfred Schwarz, her husband, Claud A. Davis Sr. and one sister Hildegard Frey of Germany. Mrs. Davis is survived by two brothers, Harry Schwarz and wife Helga, Herbert Schwarz and wife Ruth of Germany, 4 sons, Gunther H. Pontes USMC Retired of Belton, Richard H. Davis of Belton, Claud A. Davis Jr. of Kempner and Walter W. Davis of Gatesville, 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
