After a courageous battle with cancer, Wally, on November 11, 2009 elected to move on to happy trails where he was reunited with his partner, Wilma Jo, of 56 years. Wally was a man’s man. At a young age Wally supported his younger siblings, but always lived his dream of the wild west. The Binghams’ life was centered around the wild, be it fishing, camping, hunting, horseback packing or just plain driving in the mountains to look at the beauty. Wally’s life was full, but an opportunity to pursue the outdoors was never overlooked. Wally’s religion was the outdoors where he found great peace and comfort. The simple thinks were important to Wally. Not much else mattered. It was not too long ago, on a spring day in the mountains, that Wally said goodbye to his lifelong partner, Wilma Jo. Today they are rejoined and sharing the memories of the past and the prospects of the future. As Wally would say, “Forever Love.” Wally will be missed by his family and pals, but all recognize Wally is in a better place. Wally passed peacefully, leaving behind a daughter, Debra Jennings and a son, Jeff Bingham, while joining another son, Larry Bingham. Wally has one surviving sister, his baby sister, Shirley Hamilton who resides in Montana, whom he and Wilma helped raise as young kids themselves. In addition to his children, Wally leaves behind grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, some who shared Wally’s passion for the outdoors with him and others whom truly missed the privilege.
