Wallace Meeks, 82, died peacefully on Saturday, June 2, 2018 surrounded by his family.
Born in Naugatuck, WV on Dec. 6, 1935 to Samuel and Susie (Davis) Meeks and married Barbara Hollis on June 6, 1956. She preceded him in death on July 30, 1996. He retired from LTV Steel and enjoyed NASCAR racing.
Wally was a loving father to Linda (James) Simons of Parma, the late Elizabeth Meeks, Fred (Fran) Meeks of Brooklyn, Virginia (Conway) Heugel of Westfield Center and Mary (Ted) Gannon of Parma; grandfather to 7 and great-grandfather to 5. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews that he was a father figure for as well as many others that hew as a grandfather figure for. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
