Funeral Services for Wallace D. Davis, age 89, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021, will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at 12:00 pm at Union Baptist Church.Visitation will be Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Union Baptist Church. Burial will be in Union Baptist Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.Bro. Brian Tatum will officiate the service.Wallace grew up in Orlando, FL , he served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He was retired from Frito Lay Company and was a member of Union Baptist Church. Wallace loved to fish and spend time with his family, especially family gatherings. He was an avid story teller, and always had a joke to tell. Wallace will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan Davis and Annie Lou Mulling Day; and his sister, Syble Hyland.Left to cherish his memory is his loving and devoted wife of 64 years, Mary Beth Wilder Davis; his loving daughters, Dori (Brent) Richard and Kathy (Mike) Smith; his grandchildren, Justin Mancuso, Sara Richard, Dilan Smith, and Makayla Smith; his great grandchildren, Justice Kirby, Mya Kirby, Wesson Smith and Malaya Smith; his nieces, Anita (Ed) Colvin, and Linda Ferrell; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
