Wallace grew up in and around Chicago. He was a big fan of the Bears and Chicago Cubs. His father and grandfather taught him about carpentry and plumbing. Wallace chose to go into U.S. Army. He was a Private First Class. He spent time in the Vietnam War. When he left the Army he followed a dream of no roots. He like to partake in his BUD. He was a big movie buff.
