Walker Earl Britton Jr., 75, of Kingwood, WV, died Saturday, December 26, 2015, peacefully in his sleep at his home on the farm where he was born.
Walker was born July 21, 1940, in Kingwood, a son of the late Walker Earl and Mary Frances (Gribble) Britton Sr.
He worked as a carpenter for over 30 years and belonged to Carpenters Local 326 in Morgantown. Walker was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting.
He is survived by his son, Gregory Earl Britton of Kingwood; his sister, Carolyn Wolfe of Kingwood; brother-in-law, James T. Dailey Jr., of Kingwood.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Rosemary (Rutledge) Britton; one sister, JoAnn Yvonne Dailey.
