Walker A. Barnes, 16, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2020. Walker was born October 2, 2003 to Christopher Barnes & Lori Thomason Barnes. Walker was a kind-hearted young man who would lend encouragement to others. Whether on the baseball field or at school, he always enjoyed the camaraderie with friends. He was a rising eleventh grader at Newnan High School where he played on the baseball team. Walker and his family are members of Southcrest Church. Recently, Walker participated in the Chrysalis weekend retreat where his faith in God was only strengthened.
