Walburga Lowden was called Home on February 19, 2019, at the age of 83. Born February 21, 1935, in Pratsch Czechoslovakia. Better known as Borgy and best known as Omi, she lived her younger years in Huffenhardt Germany, until she met her loving husband, Thomas Lowden Sr.

Together they moved to Burlington NJ where she resided until her last day. Borgy was a loving, accepting, and warm-hearted soul. Borgy’s life was centered around her family and her faith in God. She was devoted to her children. Through her love of cooking, she started and carried on many traditions that she will always be remembered for, from her Memorial Day picnics to her Christmas Eve Feast of the Seven Fishes. She loved to swim and always made sure that on summer days she had a batch of fresh fruit, her bathing suit, and a key to the pool at “Club Conda.” Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, she enjoyed taking them on summer vacations, cooking them dinner, going to the movies, or just sitting down for an old fashion conversation and a laugh. She loved to share her stories and if you haven’t heard the same one twice well… you just didn’t know her.

Borgy is predeceased by her Parents Franz and Marie Seethaler, her husband Thomas Allen Lowden Sr., and her son Thomas Allen Lowden Jr. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Yasmine and Ray Schobert, her daughter-in-law Cheryl (Keegan) Lowden, her daughter in law Michelle (James) Powell, her grandchildren Jessie (Sam), Tommy, Raymond (Sarah), Andrew (Kahlee), Lilly and Teagan, her brother Franz, many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and countless friends. She was an angel here on Earth but now she has wings.
