Wade Steven Parker
Wade Steven Parker, age 56, of Greensboro, Georgia, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens, GA. A lifelong resident of Greene County, he was the son of Loyd Vernon and Diane Gillen Parker, born on February 23, 1957. Wade was a 1978 graduate of Greene County High School. During his working career, he worked for Jack In The Box, McDonalds, Publixs, David Brown and the Greene County Library.
In addition to his parents, Vernon and Diane Parker of Greensboro, GA, he is survived by two brothers, Patrick Parker and his wife Judy of Cordele, GA and Paul Parker and wife Tracy Ann of Pomeroy Washington; sister, Teresa Diane Parker Simpson of Greensboro, GA, Aunt Paula Gillen Akins and husband Bascom, Aunt Frances Parker Ussery and husband William “Bill”; large number of cousins; a number of nieces and nephews, many friends. Four aunts and six uncles preceded him in death.
