Wade Roy Hamilton, 84 of Boise Idaho, passed away Saturday, September 9th, 2017 at his home surround by family and loved ones.

Roy was Born September 14th, 1932, at Robinson Creek, KY., the son of Clara and Lack Hamilton.

At age 17, Wade joined the U.S. Army to fight in the Korean War. He was honorably discharged in 1951, but chose to reenlist, this time with the United States Air Force. After 18 years, which included two tours in Vietnam, Roy retired to Boise, Idaho, where he purchased the Crow Inn.

Roy was a loving husband to Kathy, and a loving father to both his sons. He loved working at the Crow Inn with his two brothers and meeting new people all the time.

Roy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing pinochle with his brothers, and going on vacation with wife and sons.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Hamilton of Boise; his sons, Dan Hamilton of San Antonio, TX., and Travis Hamilton of Boise: two brothers, Ben Hamilton of Boise, and Alvin Hamilton of Jackson Mich., and two sisters, Molly Thompson of Springport, Mich., and Shirley Whitehead of Albion, Mich. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, four brothers and three sisters.
