Wade Franklin Woodson, 85 of Middleton, passed away quietly November 28, 2011 at a Boise hospital of natural causes.

Wade served his country during World War II flying submarine patrol off the East Coast of the United States. He worked for Western Pacific Railroad for nine years, and then joined Elko Lamoille Power Company as a lineman.  

Wade greatly enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and traveling to British Columbia and Alaska. He and his wife, Gwen, owned and ran hotels in Elko, Nevada before retiring to a peaceful farm in Middleton, Idaho.

Wade is survived by his wife, Gwen of Middleton; eight children; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
