W.D. “Tex” Taylor died peacefully in the hospital due to injuries sustained from a car accident on Friday, April 17, 2015. W.D. was born February 25, 1951 to Omah Ruth Bevly Taylor and Earnest David Taylor in Corpus Christi, Texas. He married Jo Nell March Taylor on April 4, 1973 and was married for 40 years before losing her to cancer. On June 7, 2014 he married his second wife, Mary Vance Taylor.
He is preceded in death by his father; mother; and wife, Jo Nell March Taylor. He is survived by his wife, Mary Taylor; son, David Taylor; daughter-in-law, Tamara Taylor; grandchildren; sister, Lucille d’Aquin; brother, Jack Wood; and countless other family and friends.
