Vytas Juozokas, 92, of Enfield, beloved husband of 65 years to Mika (Stasiukevicius) Juozokas, passed away on Good Friday at the Evergreen Health Care Center in Stafford Springs. Born on May 10, 1920, in Lithuania, Vytas was the son of the late Antanas and Maria (Komarauskas) Juozokas. At the end of WWII, Vytas immigrated to Canada with his family. In 1957, they moved to Newington, and he worked as a machinist for Caval Tool, retiring after twenty-five years of employment. Proud of his heritage, Vytas was active in the Lithuanian community and a devout communicant of St. Andrew’s Church in New Britain for over 50 years. He loved helping others and gardening. Most of all, he found joy in spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Besides his wife Mika, Vytas is survived by his children, Edward Juozokas and his wife Catherine of Longmeadow, MA and Rom Juozokas and his wife Sally of Derry, NH; his brother, Kazimieras Juozokas of Lithuania, his grandchildren, Alison Juozokas and her husband, Damon Szymanowski, Adrienne Schirmer and her husband Austin, Michael Juozokas and Lauren Juozokas, his beloved great granddaughter, Olivia Catherine Szymanowski as well as many nieces and nephews in the United States and Lithuania. Friends may call on Vytas’ family on Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
