Vonda Mae Sanders, 91, of Bexar, Arkansas, passed away, Monday, October 25, 2021, in Bexar, Arkansas.
She was born in Bexar, Arkansas on August 20, 1930, daughter of the late Ellen and Pledger Sears. Vonda spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker, and friend. She was united in marriage to Carmon Ray Sanders on October 9, 1948, in Viola, Arkansas and from this union two children were born. Vonda was a member of Byron Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She loved going to church and singing and was a strong Christian. For many years she cleaned the church and prepared communion. Vonda loved the outdoors. She enjoyed gardening and canning.
Vonda is survived by her husband, Carmon Sanders of Bexar, Arkansas; son, Lyle Sanders and wife Judy of Franklin, Arkansas; daughter, Linda Sue Bicker and husband Jim of Bexar, Arkansas; sisters, Velta Bales of Greenwood, Missouri, Lena Smith of Raytown, Missouri and Georgia Perryman of Viola, Arkansas; grandchildren, Jeremy Bicker and wife Dawn of Conway, Arkansas, Jed Bicker and wife Sara of Hattieville, Arkansas, Nathan Sanders and wife Courtney of Franklin, Arkansas and Alissa Foyt and husband Doug of Wiseman, Arkansas and great grandchildren, Addison Bicker, Andersen Bicker, Eleanor Bicker, Lilly Sanders, Dayka Lock, Xander Lock, Izzy Foyt and Fisher Foyt.
She was preceded in death by parents, Ellen and Pledger Sears; brothers, Haskell Sears and Carroll Sears and sisters, Latain Gilstrap and Allene Clayton.
