Vivian Katherine Wheeler Williams, age 91, of Cohutta, Georgia passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015. She was born October 3, 1924. Vivian was a lifelong resident of Cohutta where she married her childhood sweetheart Joe Parker Williams whom she was married to for 66 years.
Vivian loved to travel, she was always ready to go. Some of her favorite places were Europe, Hawaii and Tybee Island. She was a wonderful cook and always enjoyed cooking for her family during all the holidays which were very special to her.
Vivian is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Parker Williams; parents, Clinton and Ryland Bridges Wheeler; brother, James Warren Wheeler; son in law, Bill Pritchard; and a grandson, Clint Williams. Vivian is survived by her sons and daughter in law, William Parker Williams of Cohutta, Joe and Brenda Williams of Conyers, Phillip Williams of Cohutta, Gerald Williams of Cohutta; daughters and sons in law, Rebecca “Becky” Pritchard of Dalton, Emily and William Noblitt of Cohutta, Patty and John Carr of Dallas, GA; sister, Mittie Rebecca Linstromberg of Omaha, NE; grandchildren, Anne Bearden, Traci Hinkein, Tony Williams, Brian Williams, Renee Valtman, Shane Williams, Todd Williams, Richie Williams, Dalyn Williams, Amy Mayfield, Chad Williams, Austin Hasty, Trey Noblitt, Lucas Carr; and she is also survived by great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
