Vivian Orzel, age 80, of Whiting, NJ passed away, September 23, 2019. Vivian (Wieslawa) was born to parents, Stanley (Stanislaw) and Jessie (Czeslawa) Orzel on July 5, 1939 in Krukowo, Poland. The Orzel family (Chester, Pauline, Vivian and Stanley) immigrated to the U.S. in 1947 and planted roots in South River, NJ.
She spent most of her adult life in Toms River, NJ where she raised 5 children before moving to Whiting where she has resided for the past 25 years. “Viv” or “Vivy” as most called her will be remembered mostly for her quick wit, great sense of humor and giving of everything she had or could to her children and grandchildren. She laughed until she cried…which was often and contagious. She is predeceased by her sister, Pauline Orzel Feehan and her parents Stanley and Jessie Orzel.
Vivian is survived by her five children, Tracy Ryan, James Ryan, his wife Sheryl (NV); John Ryan, his wife Janice (NJ); Holly Ryan Slack, her husband Greg (NY); and Christine Ryan McKay, her husband Scott (NJ); her brothers Chester, his wife Herta (MD) and Stanley, his wife Beverly (NJ) Vivian’s eight grandchildren, Erin, Christopher, Kevin, Nathan, Jacob, Noah, Charlotte and Maeve will miss her immensely.
