Vivian Louise Cammack (Johnson) was born on March 3rd, 1940 to Joseph Edingburgh Johnson Sr. and Bertha Elizabeth Johnson (Baltimore) in Washington, D.C. The third of six children, she grew up in Northeast Washington, D.C. the happy child of a close-knit family. She graduated from Cardozo High School in June of 1957 and married Burdette Cammack on October 19th, 1957. She had known him since junior high school.
