Vivian Leeann Smith (A.K.A., Viv, Aunt Viv, Sister, or mommy) but when she was on her strange clouds she might be Ms. Candy Smith, Toya, Kyiah, Kitten and many other names.
Awakened on May 12, 1981 to Wanda Smith and the late Kurt D. Smith and was put to sleep on August 8, 2015 at the Pines in Easton, MD. God let us borrow Viv for 34 years. Now she is resting in paradise.
Viv grew up in Caroline and Talbot County where she received her education. She became employed at an early age mostly doing customer service.
When Viv was able, she lived life to the fullest.
Viv was known for having a good time and had a laugh that would go all through you.
If you put it out there, or say it around her, Viv could not rest until she gave you a response, rather you liked it or not (“so go on with yourself”). Viv was definitely unique. Too know her you had to love Viv and embrace her strange kind of love in return. When Viv would get into her feelings, she would tell anybody and everybody who was listening, “I’m getting ready to go in my zone, On My Strange Clouds”!
Viv and her strange clouds leaves bitter sweet but ever so loving and unforgettable memories to Father, Wayne Reese; Mother, Wanda Smith; two Brothers, Kirk D. Smith and Wayne T. Reese; one Sister, Latoya Reese; two Step-Sisters, Desiree Reese and Felicia Reese; two Grandmothers, Ethel Williams and Doris Reese; one Grandfather, Billy Reese; Uncles, Dale Johns, Lee Hill, James Groce, Gilbert Williams, Calvin Hill, Milton Bolden, Jeffery Mosley, Ellis Jones, Billy Reese Jr., Tony Reese; Aunts, Carmen Williams, Valena Williams, Lavena Mosley, Denese Bolden, Betty Beulah, Letha Mae Jones, Beverly Reese, Lisa Reese, Elsie Groce, special Aunt and Uncle, Violet Groce & Roger Groce and a multitude of loving family, friends and sisters and brothers in Christ at Full Gospel Church and sisters ‘til the end of time; Nikki, Keke, Butt, Nancy, Sara, Becky, Shonda, Shawanna.
Viv was preceded in death by her Grandfather, Elder James H. Groce, Cousins, Robert Hampton (BJ), Vernel Williams (Fat Boy), and many other family members.
