Vivian Joan Prater, 90, of Anderson, passed away on March 10, 2020, at Sugar Fork Crossing, Anderson. She was born on September 16, 1929, in Patriot, IN, the daughter of Gerald and Marguerite (Smith) Bell Joan graduated from Anderson High School in 1947.
She had worked for the Law Office of Daniel Quickel for twenty years. Joan was a member and past president of the Lady Elk’s. She is survived by her children, Linda (Gerald Jones), Michael (Debra) Prater, and David (Teresa) Prater; grandchildren, Amy, Kelly, Kevin, Nicole, Kristin, Kimmie, and Michael Jr.; several great-grandchildren.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert L. Prater, to whom she was married for 63 years.
