Vivian Burtzlaff, 93, of Lakeside, Michigan died late Friday night, August 26 in the home of her daughter surrounded by her loving family.
Vivian was born January 17, 1918, in Lakeside, Michigan to Frank and Cressie (Perham) Harrington. On June 11, 1936, she married Henry “Hank” Burtzlaff in Michigan City, Indiana.
He preceded her in death on June 1, 1997. Vivian loved and cared for her family and home, living her entire life in the Lakeside area.
Survivors include her daughter, Charlotte (Michael) Rogers of Three Oaks, Michigan; grandchildren, Denise (Ken) Kowalski, Anthony (Mark) Rogers, and Nadean Burtzlaff ; great-grandchildren; Megan, Kenneth, Amanda, Jasmine and Annalese and her daughter-in-law, Brenda Phillips. And her longtime companion Bullseye.
She was preceded in death by her infant daughter; son Richard in 1977; daughter Nancy “Sharon” Burtzlaff in 1992; grandson Gregory Rogers and great-grandson Donovan Rogers in 1999. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Cortez, Pearl and Orville Harrington.
