Vivian “Miss Viv” Heveri, beloved pre-school teacher, incredible mother, loving wife and cherished friend, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022.  She was born October 14, 1943 to the late Therman Miller and Angela Montes-Diaz in San Juan Puerto Rico.

Besides her family, her greatest passion was teaching children for over 40 years.  She taught E.D.K. to children at Hopi, preschool at Shepherd of the Hills, Prince of Peace, Kachina Country Day School, and United Methodist Church.  Miss Viv adored, and truly remembered, each and every child she taught and befriended many parents.  She was original and creative, making her own games and crafts.  She was known to make incognito appearances in costume, sometimes only the children recognized her!  Mrs. Vackensquatch was one of her great characters.  She was an amazing story-teller and every child will remember her puppet Lamby.

Vivian was a friend to everyone.  She was vivacious, the life of every party, and she lit up every room she went into.  She was also hilarious and loved to laugh. Her laughter was so contagious that it caused her family and friends to also laugh hysterically, sometimes at inappropriate times.   No one she touched doesn’t have a long memory bank of hilarious moments with Miss Viv.

When not teaching, she enjoyed time at her cabin in Strawberry with her late husband Bob, traveling along Route 66 with her second husband Hayden and taking care of her treasured dogs.

There will never be another Miss Viv.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert “Bob” Heveri.  She is survived by her spouse, Hayden Muir, her brother Michael Miller, her three children, Alex Heveri and her partner Kermie Wohlenhaus, Lisa Cariello and her spouse Anthony Cariello, Rob Heveri, and her grandchildren Claire Cariello, Emily Cariello and Robert Cariello.
