He emigrated from Italy to Canada with his late wife Maria and daughter in 1951 and then to the United States in 1960.
Vito is survived by his loving daughter Rose Racanelli of Bedford, New York. He is also survived by his four grandsons, Alex of Danbury, Connecticut, Vito of New Fairfield, Connecticut, John of Manhattan, New York, and Martin of Monroe, New York, his two granddaughters-in-law, Mary and Andrea, his great granddaughters, Katherine and Madeline, and numerous nieces and nephews. Vito was preceded in death by his wife Maria and his son-in-law Martino Racanelli.
