Virgle W. “Joe” Isabell, age 85, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016. He was born on August 28, 1932 in Webster Springs to the late Alma Harman Isabell and Virgy “Skinny” Isabell.
Joe spent a few years in the United States Military and after his honorable discharge he attended college and graduated with a degree in business. After college, Joe worked for many years as a buyer for Bata Shoe Company in Maryland. Joe relocated to Newnan, GA where he worked at Nalco Company. Not only did Joe and Shirley have kids of their own they also took care of and provided for many foster children throughout their many years together. Joe enjoyed many hobbies such as fishing, visiting with friends, and enjoying his favorite dessert ice cream. Joe was his happiest when he was with his beloved Shirley or simply playing with his children. He was a devoted family man.
