Passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 at the age of 97. Virginia was born on July 27, 1920, the daughter of the late Roy Rusch and Ada (Osborne) Rusch. She received her Bachelors Degree from Michigan State University and her Masters Degree from Western Michigan University.
She was a longtime, devoted member of First United Methodist Church of Kalamazoo. She was married to Nolan Weller on July 30, 1949 and he preceded her in death on March 22, 2000. She is survived by her children, Thomas (Debora) Weller and Marilyn (Susan) Weller; grandchildren, Amy (Jason) Lee, April Mix and Rachel Baker; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Lorna Tripp and Joan (Kenneth) Mathews. She will also be deeply missed by her special family on Dover Rd. and the countless children she taught.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Sada Fancher, Donna Eldred and Madelyn Owen.
