Virginia Duncan Shearer, 84, of Ocean passed away peacefully on Monday, October 3, 2016 at home. She was born in Rumson to the late Kenneth and Elfie (Abbaitti) Duncan. She worked as a clerk for New Jersey Bell for 23 years. Virginia was a member of the Gray Ladies at Riverview Hospital and Monmouth Medical Center. She was an advocate of the Monmouth County SPCA in Eatontown. Most of all she treasured the time she had to spend with her loving husband, Todd.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Todd C. Shearer of Ocean, her cherished dog, Chloe and her brother, Albert Duncan of Colorado.
