She was a graduate of Philippi High School Philippi, West Virginia. She graduated from Beauty School in Philippi, West Virginia.
She was employed by Fairchild Aircraft Hagerstown, MD until retiring in 1985.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church Hagerstown, MD.
She was a member of AARP and West Virginia Society of Maryland.
She enjoyed traveling, golfing and fishing.
