Muncie – Virginia Floyd, 80, passes away Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Parkview Health and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.
Virginia was born in Albany, Kentucky on October 24, 1933, the daughter of George Adair and Lieu Rains, and attended Kentucky Schools.
Mrs. Floyd was a Homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and reading, but most of all she loved to spend time with her family and take care of her children.
Survivors include a son, Jesse Floyd, (wife-Karen), Muncie; two daughters, Lynn Stephens, (husband-Clarence), Muncie, and Debbie Sheppard, (Bobby), Muncie; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Elaine, Jesse, Shelley Jo, Amanda, Jacob and Kenny; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 65 years, Shellie Floyd Sr.; a son Shellie Allen Floyd; and a grandson, Timothy Watkins.
