Virginia R. Hildebrandt, 86, Logansport, passed away at 9:10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009, in her residence.
She was born April 26, 1923, in Logansport, the daughter of Roderick and Adelaide (Stewart) Palmer
She was married Jan. 9, 1942, in San Antonio, Texas, to John J. Hildebrandt, who preceded her in death December 19, 2006.
Mrs. Hildebrandt was a former member of the Mental Health Board, the Orphan’s Home Board and Kappa Kappa Kappa Sorority.
Surviving are sons, John R. (Carolyn) Hildebrandt, Lake Bruce; Tim (Rachel) Hildebrandt, Zionsville; and Greg (Gail) Hildebrandt, Winamac; sister, Rose Murdock, Logansport; brother-in-law, Alan (Edie) Hildebrandt, Logansport; grandchildren, Joseph Hildebrandt, Patty Hildebrandt, James Slay, Micah Slay, Angela Slay, Oliver Hildebrandt, Lauren Hildebrandt, Lowell Hildebrandt and Whitney Hildebrandt; great-granddaughter: Adelaide Hildebrandt; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding In death were a brother, Howard Palmer, and a sister, Pauline Lowe.
